Every Wednesday morning I get up at the crack of dawn and head over to the IHOP on Pico Canyon. I do not do this to get pancakes, although I do indulge my cravings for a short stack once in a while. No, I go there to support the Rotary Club Sunrise of Santa Clarita. I think of them as our Club's little sister; they have less than 20 members in a much more informal setting. But don't let the size of this Club fool you.
They have accomplished great things and have been recognized by District 5260. Last year the Sunrise Club was the recipient of the Silver Bell Award for a small club that has completed many worthwhile projects. So if you are ever up early on a Wednesday morning and would like a heaping helping of fellowship, camaraderie, and generosity - head on over to the IHOP and introduce yourself. You may be surprised to see who is there supporting this mighty little club and its efforts.
